Clear, but still

Like an agitated reflection
Of a still monument
In stirred waters
Into a thousand fragments broken
The mind is but an image
That with the water wants to flow
But is confined to its reality
Of an unmoved structure at the edge
It sighs and waits for the water to calm
To cease its own quivering
To be whole, to be blithe
To play fool and shake the waters again
